Sleeping series

This series of paintings was inspired by life of my family in late winter to early spring - a season of slumber, when all living things drift into sleep.

The wait

In this painting, I reflect on the solitude of being a decade away from home and family. This work becomes a visual meditation on absence, longing, and the quiet endurance of love over time and distance.

Foxes series

In 2024, I began working on a series titled Foxes, an exploration of the immigrant experience—of being split between two worlds and embodying two versions of myself at once. The foxes represent these dual identities: my Ukrainian and American selves. Each is independent, yet neither is whole without the other.
Each painting is both an experiment and a quiet invitation—an opportunity to step into a private world shaped by reflection and feeling.
